I haven't blogged since I opened this account due to the fact that well these past few months have been a whirl wind of excitement. From getting married, to finding out there will be an addition to the house (in human form - no more doggies for us), to start working again, then to take a month off and travel around PEI ! I know I bet you guys are all breathing a sigh of relief when you read about my summer. It's apparently supposed to be a break but I'm pretty sure I live like a Shark if I stop moving I might actually die! (okay probably not true but I tend to live a fast paced life - I blame my parents haha)
So on to how I will keep myself entertained this fall ;
As I grabbed the mail yesterday, a booklet jumped out at me - THE FALL COMMUNITY CENTRE ACTIVITIES!!! woot woo that is pure joy to me! As I scrolled threw the pages picking out activities mostly my grandma would be into. I found one !! I know you all might think I'm super crazy but KNITTING and CROCHETING (spelling I'm not positive but on google that's how it's spelt).
As you all sit there and giggle a little about how that is a granny sport I'm embracing it! Think of all the fun things I can make! I did self teach myself how to Crochet a few months back but unfortunately I can NOT read a pattern that's my problem I just go with the flow my hands take me! And my competitive nature also makes Crocheting a SPORT not an relaxing activity. My mom was trying to teach me but my comment back to her was lets see who finishes their hat first! Yes I know... I might have a tad bit of a problem.
So now that I say that grannies and nannies you all better watch out this 28 year old is joining you! I can't wait for the first class with tea and cookies (seriously that's part of the class)
